Highlights from Malay Day 2010 – Beaver Creek, CO
The 7th Annual Malay Day went down at Beaver Creek last Thursday, April 8, and riders couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Bluebird skies set the stage for the annual celebration in honor of Beaver Creek rider Josh Malay who passed away 7 years ago and was a well-known brother in the local snowboard community.
Guys and girls from all over came out to check out the event, but it was Billy Rodriguez who defended his crown as Malay Day ripper with ridiculous runs through Beaver Creek’s park and pipe. Check out the Snowboard Mag’s blog posting and photos by Mike Hardaker for more highlights.
