Vans X Spitfire Collaboration takes skateboarding back to it’s concrete roots [Video]

In a collaboration that should’ve happened a LONG time ago, Spitfire Wheels and Vans Shoes have come together to create some simple, clean designed apparel and shoes that pay homage to skateboarding’s DIY roots and legends like John Cardiel.  Continue reading for the Vans x Spitfire DIY video and a preview of the shoes

Vans Shoes and Spitfire Wheels have both grown up in the California skate scene and have watched as famous spots have been built and bulldozed.  One of the best parts of skateboarding is making your own spots.  Vans Classic and Spitfire riders Anthony Van Engelen, Peabody, and T Mo recently revived the Parkside Curbs and documented the first few tricks on film:

Vans put together a signature Spitfire Chukka Low that is fire-engine red while hailing the one and only John Cardiel with a signature Era Pro with Spitfire insoles.  Along with some flavor for your feet, Vans and Spitfire have put together some signature apparel pieces that are simple and in limited supply.

Please note: These pieces are ONLY AVAILABLE IN-STORE for a limited time, so call your local BC Surf & Sport and see what’s left.  These pieces are available only at core shops like BC and will definitely go fast, so grab some threads while you can.
